About

G++ is a window-front art gallery that will open in Victoria, BC in September, 2011. The gallery will be the first in Victoria to focus exclusively on interactive multimedia. The space has been donated by Limbic Media, a company that specializes in real-time interactive multimedia control technologies for use in entertainment markets, education, research, and the fine arts.

Equipment/Space

G++ is a street-side windowfront gallery, with two windows, and display/projection equipment, as shown in the above diagram.

Our digital display equipment is as follows:

  • 2x 55″ LG5400 LED TVs (1920×1280 max resolution each),
  • 2x NEC M300XS short-throw projectors (3000 lumens, 1024×768 each), and
  • 1x Matrox DualHead2Go, to create a single ‘virtual screen’ from any two of the above.

Our storage/processing equipment is:

  • 1x 2.2GHz Intel i7 Macbook Pro, 4GB memory.
