River is a public, interactive, online art project that allows users to upload images and annotate them with poetic commentary to create a persistent, oblique public dialogue about the city, its environment, and its community. In addition to their literary contribution, the poems are also reinterpreted and re-contextualized to create a multi-dimensional “view” of the city through visualization of a stream of websites relevant to the poetic words employed.
